‘The need to provide efficient and reliable supply is key,”

said Mandla Matshanda, B2B and Logistics Manager for Redan.

He said this on the opening of the Redan Dabuka depot located in Gweru. The depot has a capacity of 600,000 litres and is strategically located at the centre of the country giving supply efficiencies to both the northern and southern regions of the Country.

Allison Putteril, Sales manager at Redan said,

‘the response from our customers has been overwhelming, we offer both delivered and own collection facilities to our bulk customers. As an inhouse storage facility, Dabuka depot makes us more responsive to our customers as we can achieve very fast turnarounds."

The depot is supplied by rail from Matola, in Mozambique and is managed by seasoned depot manager Arthur Mahachi who has over 5 years of depot management experience. Safety is our highest priority here at the depot and therefore we invest in training and retraining our depot team to make sure that we operate to highest safety standards.

The investment in Dabuka depot is part of Redan’s  growth strategy that has also seen a rapid growth not only in B2B customers but in their retail network where the company grew from 2 sites to 18 sites in just 9 months.
