Located along the busy old Chitungwiza Road, leading to the industrial area of Chitungwiza, Derbyshire opened its doors to the motoring public in December 2022. Derbyshire service station is ideally located on the border of Waterfalls and Chitungwiza making it an ideal stop point for the commuter traffic that plies the Simon Mazorodze/Chitungqwiza route.

“Our customers are predominantly commuter operators who have come view us their regular stop as they ferry customers,”

said Kudzanayi….. the site manager at Redan Derbyshire. Recently the site put up a police post in collaboration with Waterfalls police station as part of a community outreach program.

“We realised that the local community has a long way to travel to get police assistance and so we asked management to set up the police post”,

said Kudzi,

“Having the police onsite also gives comfort to our customers that they can come and get service in a safe environment”
